Today is NJ Concussion Awareness Day

Every year I work on trying to get concussion injuries better understood by as many people as I can. This means talking to many different types of stakeholders - sometimes it's family members and sometimes a coach, sometimes it's a school nurse, sometimes a guidance counselor, sometimes it's the multiple other members of the care team. But many people who finally find their way to my practice have been seeing only one provider who hasn't referred them along. So we have to get the word out - to providers and to patients, to coaches and to school administrators - there's a team out here waiting to help you get better. Don't think this is your new normal, get help, get better and get going!

Please click on the link below - which is made public today for the first time and we hope that it will be beneficial information for many people.
