Helping other PTs learn to help more patients

Updated: May 24, 2021

I feel privileged to start a Vestibular Special Interest group for the New Jersey Chapter of the APTA. The goal is to help other therapists who may not have specialty training or a strong background in Vestibular Evaluation and Treatment, since this is not an entry level area, to be able to manage patients with mild symptoms or more common presentations successfully. My passion for this area stems from the amazing feeling of working with patients who are suffering and helping them recover. No one needs to suffer from vestibular complaints - if more therapists in our state understand more about this area, then they can treat more patients and know when to refer patients to more specialized therapists. Let's get our patients better!
